This week, we spoke with Michael McHenry about how he keeps his Salt Lake City restaurants relevant during the pandemic. In this video, McHenry discussed how he and his team have adjusted to the new realities, returned to profitability and created a stronger team in the process.
The National Restaurant Association also released new numbers that showed that 10,000 restaurants have closed in the past three months. According to the report, that's about 17% of the industry that completely shut down in the span of one quarter all due to COVID-19. The findings were inserted into the letter the National Restaurant Association sent to Congress addressing the federal aid bill that had no restaurant relief.
