More than 30 restaurants and bars in New York City are launching the second annual Pisco Sour Happy Hour Week on Feb. 7. Participating restaurants, along with Peruvian Pisco producers and the Trade Commission of Peru, will promote the Peruvian classic cocktail. Among the restaurants are Chiflez, Chimu, Coco Roco, Inti, Jora, Kion, Manka, Panca, Pio Pio, Raymi and Warique.
Each of the participating spots offers pisco (grape brandy produced in Peru) year-round. For example, the cocktail menu at Raymi Peruvian Kitchen & Pisco Bar in NYC regularly features selections ranging from Pisco Sours with pisco, lime, egg whites and bitters to the Quinoa Old Fashioned with Pisco Quebranta, Amaro Montanegro liqueur and Quinoa Syrup.
