Summer menu additions at Donald Trump’s signature restaurant

Love him or hate him, no one can deny that Donald Trump has given a jolt of energy to the Republican presidential selection process so far this summer. As a restaurateur, Trump is hoping some new seasonal additions will have a similar effect on business at his namesake DJT restaurant, located inside the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas.

The new offerings put an Italian spin on a menu that has previously featured modern American cuisine.

“Consistently evolving our menu at DJT, our summer additions extend our locally-sourced, farm-to-table program and introduce more of an Italian influence, which is one of my favorite cuisines,” says DJT executive chef Sydney Jones. “We’re incorporating more Italian vinegars and oils, Italian wines, focaccia breads and scratch pastas. Visitors will see even more of these Italian cooking techniques infused into new items as we move into fall.”

Here are 11 items Trump and Jones hope will help fill the seats at DJT.
