Pretty much every American city has a dynamic food scene now, but New York City continues to have a very deep bench of culinary talent, as reflected this week with dishes and a drink from the Big Apple.
Mario’s, a century-old Italian restaurant in the Bronx, continues to evolve, recently with a pasta dish inspired by a trip to Italy last summer and named after the chef's mother.
In the Manhattan neighborhood of Nolita, a brand new Italian restaurant, Cantiere Hambirreria, features a hamburger inspired by the ingredients and flavors of the region of Puglia.
