Lovers of rye bread and the Scandinavian spirit aquavit are likely already familiar with the flavor of caraway, an aromatic, slightly sweet, slightly peppery seed that is used to flavor food and drinks. Caraway appears mostly on fine-dining and independent restaurant menus, but has gained traction over the past four years.
