The restaurant industry mourns the Top Chef alum who passed away at age 29
Fatima Ali passed away on Jan. 25 at the age of 29 after battling a rare form of cancer, according to The New York Times.
When the news of her death broke, there was an outpouring of social media posts remembering the chef, a contestant on the 15th season of television show "Top Chef."
