Chris Curren, the chef/co-owner of Blue 13 in Chicago, offers “twisted” versions of American classic dishes. What else would you expected from a guy who’s a bit twisted himself? Curren sports two full sleeves of tattoos that, as a whole, sum up his wildly graphic life story to this point. One of his tats is a Derek Hess piece that the other owner of Blue 13 also happens to have tattooed on his arm. Current is also a fan of tattoo legend Sailor Jerry. Those framed pieces behind the chef are Sailor Jerry works of art.
