Category: Whiskey

Restaurant: Fish City Grill, Dallas

Creator: Marshall Thomas

Inspiration: Martha Stewart’s Peach Old Fashioned

Key Ingredients: Reilly’s Rock & Rye Ginger, St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Angostura bitters, grilled peaches, thyme, simple syrup

Price: $.9.25

What the Judges Said: At 33 percent alcohol by volume, Reilly’s makes for a lighter cocktail base than bourbon, but the sharp ginger gives the drink a different kind of kick, while also playing nicely with the grilled peach. The St-Germain almost vanishes in the drink, but it seems to round out the other flavors.
