This week, even more states reopened while others dealt with their first few weeks of running restaurants in a post-coronavirus world.

Arizona, Arkansas, Nevada and Ohio all announced plans to reopen in the coming weeks while hard-hit states like New York still remain in lockdown with only essential businesses open. This would mean that roughly half of the U.S. has begun to lift restrictions put in place around eight weeks ago.

Consumer are craving cleanliness and touch-free interactions as restaurant operators are aware, but what else are they looking for in a post-COVID-19 world? We rounded up some consumer habits for restaurant operators here.

The Paycheck Protection Program hasn't yet left the news. This week, the first fradulent charge was leveled against a former restaurant operator based on the funds he received from the loan program.
