WHY IT’S COOL:
Founders David Rekhson and Lucas Stoioff are clever guys who continually come up with clever idea, like installing beer taps into customer tables at Bull & Bear. Their best idea, however, was to bring aboard Fabio Viviani, a charismatic Italian chef who made a huge splash on Top Chef and was voted a fan favorite. The cachet he brought to Siena Tavern was worth a hundred marketing campaigns. As it turns out, Siena just may be the expansion vehicle they were looking for with the recent spinoff of Bar Siena. Everyone in Chicago knew DineAmic could create great bars, now they know this youthful, energetic company can also speak Italian.
