October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual nationwide effort to increase public awareness of the disease; raise funding for ongoing research towards its prevention, treatment and cure; and support those affected by it. Restaurants across America are joining in the fight against breast cancer and informing customers of the cause through organized campaigns, pink food and drink items, and charitable donations.
