One thing you don't know about me is that I'm a very humble person with a lot of respect for my craft.
If I could trade places with one chef it would be David Chang (chef/owner of Momofuku and several other New York City restaurants). He has built a very strong brand in a relatively short period of time.
One of my most memorable meals was at Le Bernardin.
If there was no bacon, I'd have no reason to live.
My go-to drink is Diet Coke.
If I were on death row my last meal would be Chinese food.
My worst culinary creation was a mushroom tart I prepared on Top Chef.
If I could change one thing about me I would learn to be more patient.
My favorite junk food is White Castle.
If I wasn't a restaurant operator I would love to be a football coach.
Howie “Bulldog” Kleinberg is the chef/owner of Bulldog Barbecue in Miami. Bulldog Barbecue was named a Top 10 barbecue restaurant by Bon Appetit.
