INGREDIENTS:5 ½ lbs. pork shoulder
as needed, salt
as needed, black pepper
3 cups Cattlemen’s® Original Barbecue Sauce
1 ½ cups chicken stock DIRECTIONS:Season pork shoulder with salt and pepper. Place pork, fat side up, in large roasting pan. Bake in a 450°F conventional oven for 1 ½ hours; lower heat to 200°F and continue baking for 3 ½ hours, covered, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F.

Transfer whole pork shoulder to large pot; add Cattlemen’s® Original Barbecue Sauce and chicken stock. Simmer for 2 hours, or until internal temperature reaches 175°F. Pull and dice the pork.
