Budino is a sweet Italian dish with a rich and creamy texture similar to custard or pudding — in fact, the word is Italian for “pudding.” The dessert can be flavored with chocolate, caramel, fruit and other ingredients. It’s considered a premium item that can be found at fine-dining establishments and ethnic independents, most commonly at Italian restaurants.
