You don’t even have to leave your kitchen to get inspired by Latin, Asian and Regional American flavors. Just page through these three new cookbooks.

Richard Sandoval’s New Latin Flavors (Stewart, Tabori & Chang, $29.95, hardcover)

Chef Richard Sandoval brings together his background growing up in Mexico City, his experience at his flagship restaurant, Maya, in New York City, and his interest in pan-Latin cuisines with the 125-plus dishes in his cookbook. Chef Sandoval also offers cocktail recipes featuring Latin spirits to complement the food.   

Dumplings All Day Wong by Lee Anne Wong (Page Street Publishing, $22.99, softcover)

Celebrity chef and TV personality Lee Anne Wong raises Asian-style dumplings to a new level, with step-by-step photos, easy instructions and inspiring tips for featuring potstickers, gyoza, wontons, soup dumplings and more. Starting with the dough types and colorful variations (including orange carrot dough, purple red cabbage dough, red bell pepper dough and gold turmeric dough), Wong’s recipes move right through the menu categories.
