Key Ingredients: Golden Moon Gin, Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur, fresh grapefruit juice, simple syrup, egg white, rosemary, jalapeno slice, red salt sprinkle

What Others Said: What What was a finalist in the 2012 GQ Bombay Sapphire Competition.

What the Judges Said: “The decision to use this local gin from Golden, CO, was a smart one because of its delightful herbaceous notes. The gin is balanced beautifully by the sweet tartness of the blood orange liqueur and the grapefruit juice. But what won us over was the rosemary and jalapeno finish that gives this cocktail a funky personality. It’s a real eye-catcher, too.”
