10 Thoughts from Michael Schwartz
One thing you don't know about me is that I like to walk around the house naked.
I'm most proud of my short-term success with Michael's Genuine and my three children.
My fondest memory is falling in love with my wife … really.
If there was no pork, I'd have no reason to live. I'm a nice Jewish boy (laughs).
My greatest inspiration is small farmers and their amazing products.
If I were on death row my last meal would be a great cheeseburger, fries and a black & white milkshake … no, wait, make that a cold Chimay on tap. I'll have the shake for dessert.
The thing I hate most about this business is the business part.
If I could change one thing about me it would be my belly. No, my height. No, my indecisiveness.
My idea of a perfect day starts with not having to do anything.
If I could do it all over again I would do it all over again.
Michael Schwartz is the chef/owner of Michael's Genuine Food & Drink in Miami's design district.
