Welcome to New York City, one of the greatest restaurant cities in the world and home of the Nation’s Restaurant News editorial team. NYC needs no introduction, but the four brands we profile here — Bareburger, Black Tap, Seamore’s and Eataly — might. We chose four standout emerging concepts based in NYC and expanding outside of the tri-state area. Each has a unique brand proposition.

Hear from three of the chains' leaders in this exclusive video series from NRN where we explore cities and share some of their most exciting emerging chains. Be sure to check out our previous video from Austin where editor-in-chief Sam Oches toured the streets of the up-and-coming city for some of the best local brands making their marks.

Get to know these four emerging NYC concepts from senior food and beverage editor Bret Thorn, who will guide you through the food and history of each brand.
