Washington, D.C.-based chef Spike Mendelsohn held his annual pool party at the recent South Beach Food & Wine Festival. More than a dozen of the country’s top chefs competed in a variety of pool games, including raft relay races. The event was sponsored by Tervis Wine Glass. Check out the action from this splash-filled event. 

Some of those who competed in the “Spike the Pool Event” were (top row) Todd Erickson, JJ Johnson, Franklin Becker, Pat LaFrieda, Spike Mendelsohn, Matt Meltzer (Thrillist Miami Editor), Tim Love and David Gaus. In the front row are Kenny Gilbert, Aaron Sanchez, Marc Murphy and Josh Capon.
