Chicago restaurateur Billy Dec is the host of the Meal of Your Life podcast, where distinguished guests — from fellow renowned chefs to athletes and celebrities — discuss a defining meal.

As the principal of Fenger High School in Chicago, Liz Dozier faced the worst nightmare possible when a student was killed by a mob of kids — with the murder uploaded on YouTube and made viral all around the world.

Now managing director of the nonprofit organization Chicago Beyond and star of CNN’s documentary series “Chicagoland,” Dozier discusses turning around the school in the aftermath of the student’s death, the food at schools in underserved neighborhoods, the importance of mentorship, and her love of traveling and sharing meals.
