Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group opened its newest restaurant Ci Siamo, meaning “here we are” or “we have arrived,” on Tuesday in collaboration with chef Hillary Sterling.

The new concept in Manhattan West, a mixed-use development in Hudson Yards, has views of the Empire State Building.

“Finally, we can announce 'we’ve arrived’ and ‘we’re ready,’’' founder and CEO Meyer said in a statement. “Hillary and her team have brought a restaurant - long in the planning - to life, with a deep sense of identity that makes each and every guest feel as if they’ve turned a corner and unearthed something entirely new.”

The Italian menu focuses on wood-fired cooking, a “personal hobby turned daily obsession” for Sterling, according to the company.

“These are the dishes I’d serve and the stories I’d tell if you were coming over to my own home,” she said in a release. “The phrase ‘Ci Siamo’ represents a sense of long-awaited arrival and anticipation - the ease that washes over you when you get to your destination after a long drive, that first drink on a Friday night following a long week - something we’ve all been searching for over the past year and a half. We aim to be an ever-evolving and soulful restaurant that you’ll want to visit time and time again.”

Sterling previously worked at restaurants Vic’s and A Voce.
