Opening in late November 2019 on the California side of Lake Tahoe, this upscale pub will serve as a foodie destination for those both before and after a day of skiing.

Bourbon Pub, the latest casual-dining concept from Michael Mina, is scheduled to open in Northern California later this month and provide an aprés ski destination for the hungry travelers to Lake Tahoe.

Part of the chef’s multiconcept MINA Group, the restaurant to be operated in partnership with Vail Resorts will have upscale pub-inspired food and will serve as a year-round gathering place for patrons of the resort and skiers.

Led by Executive Chef Jon Blackley, the menu will include elevated pub fare like a Caesar salad with truffle and garlic streusel; Chicken wings with General Tso sauce rather than buffalo sauce; and cauliflower “steak” in a tahini sauce with pomegranate.

The 125-seat restaurant will feature a contemporary ski-lodge décor. A “mountain modern” aesthetic includes buffalo check, hunter green and camel leather on the furniture with a. mural of the local landscape and vintage boardgames available for guests.
