Canadian plant-based concept opens first U.S. unit in LA

Fresh joins the growing meat-free segment

Out of Canada comes the plant-based concept Fresh, which opened its first U.S. location in Los Angeles on Friday.

The restaurant is the sixth unit for the small chain based in Toronto, Fresh was founded by Ruth Tal, who has partnered with former “Top Chef Canada” judge Shereen Arazm, co-owner of the restaurant Terroni Los Angeles.
