Why VistroBurger thinks it’s the Shake Shack of vegan burgers

Founder Ross Glick explains why his Vegan Warrior Project is changing people’s minds

VistroBurger claims to be the vegan Shake Shack. Founder Ross Glick was inspired to create the namesake burger after turning vegan himself and not feeling as though he could eat anything at Shake Shack. Instead, he made his own proprietary patty that could rival the famous fast-casual chain in taste and flavor for non-meat eaters and meat eaters alike.

What’s unique about VistroBurger is that it’s co-located with two other vegan concepts, Omakaseed and Purple Thai, in New York City. The concepts are all part of Glick’s Vegan Warrior Project, a virtual franchising platform to help expand plant-based concepts throughout the country.

VistroBurger is launching in the virtual space with one brick-and-mortar location so far. What will the future hold for the brand?

Check out more from Glick in the video above and vote on LinkedIn or Instagram for which concept you think is going to be the first national plant-based concept.
