STEAK FOR DAYBREAK: Spicy Steak and Eggs Breakfast Tacos offer all-day appeal.

Meaty menu items span all types of menus, and all dayparts, as this month's recipe section demonstrates. From Griddle Cafe in Los Angeles we offer a recipe for Spicy Steak and Eggs Breakfast Tacos. The casual-dining restaurant is open from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. on weekdays, and 8 a.m until 4 p.m. on weekends, with a menu that builds on the idea of breakfast fare and lunch ideas that are offered all day. Also on the menu: Poached & Papas Benedict with baked ham and poached eggs atop potato skins, and Chicago Charlie's Scramble featuring bacon, Italian sausage, potatoes, eggs, peppers, cheese, garlic, basil and onions.

California-based La Brea Bakery shares the recipe for Southwest Shredded Beef Torta with Ancho Chile Mayo. At Saladworks, the fast-casual made-to-order salad restaurant, Blackened Steak and Blue Potato Spinach Salad has all the makings of a robust meal. Among the other meat-centric recipes this month you'll find Short Ribs with Creamy Polenta and Fried Eggs, Strip Steak with Rigatoni and Gorgonzola Cream, Roasted Rack of Lamb with Grapes, and more.
