Alcohol has always had a large part to play on the big and small screens. In fact, shows can be dated based on the character’s cocktail of choice almost as easily based on the fashion.

But once drinks come off the screen and into a customer’s hand, it becomes about creating a time with taste.

Ever Bar at The Kimpton Everly Hotel in Los Angeles is celebrating the Emmy nominees as the Sept. 22 awards show approaches.

Some of the shows featured on the menu include “Killing Eve”, “Barry”, “Chernobyl” and “Veep.”

The cocktails all have a touch of whimsy with ingredients from a “lipstick kiss” for the “Schitt’s Creek” drink to “potato water and fear” in the “Chernobyl” drink.

Read on to see some of the witty drinks on the menu through October.
