Sippable signatures have arrived. The idea of creating specialty soft drinks is just one more way that restaurants can distinguish their menu offerings. At Max & Erma's, with more than 100 locations, signature soft drinks include the Watermelon Fizz and the Pomegranate Fizz, with free refills. Herein, we're providing the Watermelon Fizz recipe.
At The Old Spaghetti Factory Restaurants, fizzy specialties include the Pure Peaches & Cream and the Strawberry Citrus Fizz. The peach-flavored concoction is a mixture of Monin Peach Puree, sweet & sour and club soda, topped with whipped cream ($3.75). The Strawberry Citrus Fizz ($3.75) combines Monin Strawberry Puree, sweet & sour, orange juice, and Sprite®.
Meanwhile, coolers at The Egg and I restaurants draw on the tradition of classic Coke floats. For example, the Mangosicle is a creamy combination of mango, orange juice, Sprite® and soft serve ice cream, served over ice ($2.89).
For fruit-lovers, five specialty Italian sodas are featured on the beverage menu at the 254-unit (208 company-owned) California Pizza Kitchen. Flavors include peach, strawberry, raspberry, mango and kiwi, with sugar-free flavors available. We're providing the Peach Italian Soda recipe.
