You recognize Carlos Fernandez? He was a fan favorite on the second season of Bravo’s Top Chef. He’s now the chef/partner of Hi-Life Café in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Here he’s messin’ with his cat, Jackson, named after the Kendal Jackson Winery. Jackson’s a tabby that’s been putting up with Carlos’ shenanigans for several years. As if Carlos isn’t enough of a handful, Jackson must also deal with Gabanna, a Rodesian Ridgeback, who didn’t move in with Carlos until after this photo was taken. And, yes, the dog was named after one-half of the famous Italian design team Dolce & Gabbana. “I’m a dog person, not a cat person but Jackson was a stray that came to the restaurant and wouldn’t go away,” Carlos says. “Because of Jackson I now understand cats more.”
