What makes it special: Made only with Alabama products, this sandwich is a showcase for owner Bill E. Stitt’s pork belly made from a cross of Berkshire Red and Chantilly White pigs. They’re cured in rooms behind the stage at Old 27 Grill, and Stitt insists the music makes for better belly.
What others are saying: “This [pork belly] is some lovingly, painstakingly handcrafted stuff that literally made me moan in porky, smoky ecstasy,” wrote Scott Gold, bacon critic for Extra Crispy.
