best cocktail nudge of the riverCategory: Dessert

Restaurant: Currents at the Riverhouse on the Deschutes, Bend, Ore.

Creator: Benjamin Edel

Inspiration: This is based on the Coffee Nudge, a classic cocktail served warm in a mug. The key ingredient that sets it apart is local Stumptown cold brew coffee

Key Ingredients: Cold-pressed Stumptown coffee, American Pot Still Brandy, Kahlua and Godiva dark chocolate

Price: $8

What the Judges Said: This is almost too trendy for its own good: Both cold brew coffee and local products (not just the coffee, but also the brandy, from Clear Creek Distillery in Portland) are about as trend-forward as you can get. But this drink is also rich, beautiful and a great way to end a meal.
