Spiked Italian Mozzarella Burgers

Yield: 6 servings.

1 lb. Italian sausage, sweet, casings removed
1 onion, finely chopped
1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, cut into 1/2" cubes
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
3 Tbsp. ketchup
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/2 tsp. Tabasco® brand Habanero Sauce

6 hamburger buns
6 lettuce leaves
12 tomato slices

Place all hamburger ingredients into medium bowl. Season with salt and pepper and mix well.

Form mixture into six patties. Fry or grill until cooked through, about 6-8 minutes on each side. Serve on buns with lettuce and tomato.
