They’re also capitalizing on the popularity of pumpkin with innovative dessert drinks, such as pumpkin martinis, pumpkin Alexander’s and pumpkin and brown sugar Old Fashioned cocktails. Some operators are even blending it into their smoothies. In addition to pumpkin and spice, operators are also adding the flavor of crisp apples, warm apple pie and creamy caramel apples to a variety of specialty coffee and dessert drinks. Adding a slice of pumpkin, a drizzle of apple or a touch of spice is a fast, easy way to differentiate your beverage menu and give your comfort-seeking customers a reason to fall in love with your place—again and again.
