Jodi L. Berg has been named the new president of Vita-Mix®. Former president John K. Barnard will serve as executive chairman and c.e.o. In her new role, Berg plans to continue the product innovation that has helped the 85-year-old family business expand globally.

The Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker® program announces that its 2009 graduating class includes newly certified Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker Ken Heiman of Nasonville Dairy, and three Masters including Sid Cook of Carr Valley Cheese, Gary Grossen at University of Wisconsin-Madison Babcock Hall dairy plant and Steven Tollers of Burnett Dairy Cooperative, all of whom earned certification for additional cheese varieties. The program is funded through Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board.
