Spitting Mad

Taco Bell

An Alaska man was forced to cool his heels in jail for a day after he was convicted of hitting a Taco Bell manager in the face with a double-decker taco. The incident took place at a Taco Bell unit in Fairbanks. The 31-year-old, who also paid a $100 fine after pleading guilty to disorderly conduct, says he threw the taco because it contained spit. He alleged that the restaurant messed up his order twice, forcing him to go through the drive-thru twice. He told the court that the manager accused him of lying to get free food. He has been barred from Taco Bell for a year, the length of his probation.
