Houlihan's Restaurants, Inc.
Jen Gulvik is VP Marketing and Creative Director for Houlihan’s Restaurants, Inc. overseeing the brand evolution and brand voice for all three of the company’s restaurant concepts. A progressive marketer and creative strategist for nearly 20 years, Jen is particularly voiced in consumer trends and emerging media. She oversees or influences all aspects of the customer experience, including in-store music, design and menu development, as well as being a key player in the company’s strategic business initiatives. Jen recently led the creation of an innovative online brand community of 10,000+ brand lovers who engage with company leadership, provide insights, foster word-of-mouth marketing on the company’s behalf and ultimately develop further brand loyalty. The community was featured in Fast Company magazine’s March 2010 ‘Most Innovative Companies’ issue.
Jen’s work has been recognized with NRN’s ‘Best Restaurant Promotion of the Year,’ countless advertising awards including an AIGA design award for Houlihan’s website, and being named one of “40 under 40” in 2008 for her business and community leadership in Kansas City where she resides.
