Yield: 1 14" pizza.
1 14" pizza shell (frozen or fresh)
2 cups Sea Watch canned Chopped Sea Clams
2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
2 ripe plum tomatoes, sliced thin
½ cup fresh basil, long-chopped
4 cloves garlic, fresh, minced
1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
4 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
to taste, fresh cracked black pepper
Prepare pizza dough by coating with 2 Tbsp. olive oil. Evenly distribute cheese over the entire pizza. Place tomato slices evenly over pizza, then the clams, crushed red pepper and garlic. Bake pizza for 12 minutes in a 475°F preheated oven. Remove pizza from oven and garnish with fresh basil and drizzle remaining 2 Tbsp. olive oil over the pizza.
